What is Coaching?

The method of coaching first appeared in the world of sports in the 1980s. Its tools were soon transferred into the area of business after the recognition that business executives face similar challenges in professional life as athletes in preparing for and taking part in competitions.
The coach, as a kind of personal trainer, works with the coachee, i.e. the client. During the process the coach does not advise, but with well-directed questions and mindful attention they inspire the coachee to outline potential solutions and set goals. In the course of the coaching sessions the issues are clarified and paths of possible solutions are drawn up. The client sees the case more clearly and more confidently, their energy level rises and they often take immediate action towards the solution.

How it works

During the process of 3-6 coaching sessions, lasting 60 to 90 minutes respectively, anyone who gets stuck in their personal or professional life or faces difficult decisions, finds new ways and solutions and sets new goals with my support.
The essence of coaching is that it focuses on solving the problems rather than analyzing them, so it will bring about successful and lasting change in a short time. The solutions do not come from outside but the client will find them relying on and motivated by their own internal resources.

Language coaching

and coaching-oriented language training

coaching-oriented language training

WIN - WIN

Employees’ individual goals and the interests of the company often meet when it comes to developing foreign language skills. In today’s international environment it is a basic expectation that employees express themselves confidently in English in the following areas:

  • writing emails
  • meetings
  • telephone skills
  • presentations
  • negotiation techniques
  • welcoming visitors
  • phone and video conferences
  • business trips
  • handling complaints
  • business lunches
Communication in the workplace

Coaching-oriented language training, as opposed to traditional language teaching, places the emphasis on motivation, and focuses on achieving the goal as early as possible, which results in shorter training time. For the customer this type of training is far more effective, and overall, it is a smaller expense than protracted traditional language courses.

The incentive nature of coaching is not limited to language learning, but - as it positively stimulates attitude - it also has a favourable impact on other areas of life and work. Coaching-oriented language development is flexible and tailored to the learner’s needs. The language learner moves towards the desired goal in their own learning style at the most appropriate pace.

Fees

The fee depends on the type of service and on individual requirements. The needs analysis takes place in a personal meeting where we discuss the coaching or language skills development process. Then I will give you a quotation.
